Shortly after the race restarted following an extended cleanup period, multiple drivers hit the wall and were emphatic that they had run over oil, causing them to lose control of their cars. It’s not out of the realm of possibility heading into the midpoint of the Chase, this Sunday’s race at Kansas Speedway. With a dominating victory in Sunday’s rain-delayed Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Logano punched an early-bird ticket to the Eliminator Round of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
