Richmond Preview: The Regular-Season Finale Has High Stakes

By Jared  Turner It’s all come down to this. With one race remaining until the 16-driver Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup is locked in, 12 drivers have already punched their respective ticket into the 10-race playoff. That leaves four spots potentially up for grabs in Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond International Raceway, host of the 26th and final race of the Sprint Cup Series’ regular season. Following are the drivers locked into the Chase, all by virtue of having one or more wins so far in 2016: Team Penske’s Brad Keselowski, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Carl Edwards, JGR’s Kyle…

Nemechek wins wild race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

Sept. 4, 2016 By Lee Bailie NASCAR Wire Service Bowmanville, Ontario, CANADA – In what has quickly become tradition for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series when it races north of the border, the Chevrolet Silverado 250 produced yet another wild and memorable finish. Following a few moments of deliberations, NASCAR officials determined Nemechek won the race by 0.034 seconds. Daniel Hemric – who was briefly…
