By Jared Turner The recent announcement that GoDaddy won’t return as Danica Patrick’s primary sponsor next season is a blow for the driver, her Stewart-Haas Racing team and NASCAR as a whole. Despite her relative lack of on-track success, Patrick is one of the sport’s most popular and marketable drivers. A veteran of Super Bowl ads who has appeared multiple times in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, Patrick has appeal that goes far beyond the sport. In fact, it’s safe to say that with the exception of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and perhaps Jeff Gordon, there’s not another driver who is more recognized outside…

5 Lessons Learned: Hendrick Boys Stick Together Again

By Jared Turner The Earnhardt Legacy Lives At Talladega An unusually emotional Dale Earnhardt Jr. opened up in Victory Lane about how much winning at Talladega meant to him. I’m Just Saying: Junior Still Not a Chase Favorite

By Jared Turner While all of Junior Nation has a renewed sense of optimism about the 2015 season after watching Dale Earnhardt Jr. win Sunday’s race at Talladega Superspeedway, fans of NASCAR’s most popular driver should not get ahead of themselves and declare their man the 2015 Sprint Cup championship favorite. Earnhardt’s win at Talladega, while impressive and certainly great for the sport, means nothing about where he stacks up relative to the competition. Oh, sure, Sunday’s victory solidifies his place in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, but it’s going to take a lot more than a strong restrictor-plate package…

Earnhardt Jr. captures sixth Sprint victory at Talladega

May 3, 2015 By Mark McCarter NASCAR Wire Service TALLADEGA, Ala. – It's a toss-up which is greater, Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s passion for Talladega Superspeedway or the Talladega fan base's passion for Dale Earnhardt Jr. On a glorious afternoon, Earnhardt offered a one-word order to his team over the radio, a message that could be shared with the thousands of his devotees in the stands: "Celebrate!" he proclaimed.
