Edwards is Back!

Carl Edwards won for the first time in two years after a crazy Green-White-Checkered finish at Phoenix. Jimmie Johnson followed up his Daytona 500 win, with a second place finish and Denny Hamlin finished third. NASCAR Pole Position Phoenix cover girl Danica Patrick finished 39th after blowing a tire and crashing into the wall early in the race.

Busch Soaks in the Sun

Kyle Busch scored his first Nationwide Series victory of the season at Phoenix International Speedway. The win was especially gratifying for Busch as he snapped a 24-race winless streak on the Nationwide circuit. Sprint Cup | Johnson Wins the Daytona 500

Jimmie Johnson won his second Daytona 500 in thrilling fashion. The race was filled with wrecks and car problems. Danica Patrick, who started in the pole Position, finished eight. Johnson became the 1oth driver to win multiple Daytona 500s. Overall, it was a great way to start the Sprint Cup season.

Nationwide | Stewart Wins, Fans Injured

Tony Stewart won the first Nationwide Series race of the year, but it was a last-lap crash that injured 28 fans, and sent 14 to the hospital that will be the indelible memory from the race. Thankfully, there were no fatalities as a result of Kyle Larson's car going airborne after making contacting with another car. Larson's car destroyed the catch fence located near the finish line and create a scene of mass havoc.
