Kyle Busch beat the field in Bristol, edging Kyle Larson in a thrilling finish to win the Jeff Foxworthy's Grit Chips 300. It was Busch's fifth career Nationwide victory at Bristol.
Sam Hornish won the Sam's Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway today. Hornish held of Las Vegas native Kyle Busch for his second career Nationwide Series win.
Kyle Busch scored his first Nationwide Series victory of the season at Phoenix International Speedway. The win was especially gratifying for Busch as he snapped a 24-race winless streak on the Nationwide circuit. Tony Stewart won the first Nationwide Series race of the year, but it was a last-lap crash that injured 28 fans, and sent 14 to the hospital that will be the indelible memory from the race. Thankfully, there were no fatalities as a result of Kyle Larson's car going airborne after making contacting with another car. Larson's car destroyed the catch fence located near the finish line and create a scene of mass havoc.
