Kyle Larson has a new crew chief in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, but it took a while before the driver actually had his first-face-to-face meeting with Chad Johnston, the successor to Chris Heroy on the pit box for the #42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevy. The delay was understandable. Larson sped through a whirlwind offseason where, among other things, he competed in the Chili Bowl, the premier event for Midget cars, in Tulsa, OK. The Rolex 24 at Daytona — Who, What, Where, When, Why

The highly anticipated 54th Rolex 24 At Daytona will be held Jan. 30-31 at Daytona International Speedway, as 54 drivers will face off in a 24-hour endurance battle on the superspeedway's 3.56-mile road course. This also marks the debut of Daytona Rising, a $400 million renovation project of the track that began in 2014. Cassill Joins Front Row Motorsports in 2016

Six-year NASCAR Sprint Cup Series veteran Landon Cassill will join the Front Row Motorsports line-up to drive the No. 38 Ford for the 2016 season. The 26-year-old Cassill has 187 Sprint Cup starts under his belt, most recently competing for Hillman Racing in 2015. The Cedar Rapids, Iowa, native has raced in all three of NASCAR’s national series, earning XFINITY Series Rookie of the Year honors in 2008.
